Dog Park Work Party – September 9, 9–11am

Come join the employees of Rogue Credit Union as we clean up the garden beds surrounding the popular Dog Park on Saturday, September 9 from 9 to 11 a.m.  The Dog Park  is located at the intersection of Helman and West Nevada: enter the new Village Verde subdivision on Almeda Drive and take a right before the new homes.  There is a small Dog Park sign pointing the way!  Tools, gloves and snacks will be provided.  If you're interested please contact Lori Ainsworth at 541.552.2264 or by email.

Railroad Work Party – September 16, 2–4pm

Volunteers needed as we head to Railroad Park on Saturday, August 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. to clean up the garden beds at this popular neighborhood park.  Railroad Park is located at 758 “A” Street and we’ll be working on the newly landscaped Seventh Street end.  Tools, gloves, snacks and cold drinks provided.  If you're interested please contact Lori Ainsworth at 541.552.2264 or by email.


Become a Volunteer Instructor at our Nature Center

Volunteers needed to teach hands on, outdoor classes about the “Geology of the Rogue Valley” this fall to visiting K–5th graders at our North Mountain Park Nature Center.  You only need to volunteer a few hours once a week from September 19 through November 3.  Training and lesson plans provided.  Laughter, hugs and smiles guaranteed.  For more information about lessons, training and available shifts, contact Lori Ainsworth at 541.552.2264 or by email.

Volunteers Needed at Senior Center
The Food & Friends Program at the Ashland Senior Center needs volunteers.  Two to four hour shifts are available, Monday through Friday.  This is a great way to interact with seniors and give back to the community!  If you're interested, please contact Lori Ainsworth at 541.552.2264 or by email. 

Nature Center Gardeners

Gardeners are always needed at the North Mountain Park Nature Center Demonstration Gardens.  Have fun gardening in a group on Wednesday mornings or come out on your own.  Tools and friendly training provided.

High School & College Students
